Q1: What is your role in TERAO and since when?

Khang:

I started working as a project engineer at Terao in August 2023. My responsibilities include completing projects related to LEED submission and providing technical support, such as CFD and energy simulation.

Q2: What do you like in your role at TERAO?

Khang:

At Terao, I work on a variety of projects ranging from Green Standards to technical scopes. This experience allows me to gain valuable insights into the requirements of Green Standards, such as LEED and BREEAM, for buildings. Additionally, I enjoy working on energy simulations, which help me understand the overall energy consumption of factories and offices.

Q3: Why did you choose to work at TERAO?

Khang:

My initial career orientation has always been centered around green building aspects, which makes Terao an ideal fit for my professional goals. Terao aligns with my passion for sustainability and offers a unique international environment. This setting provides me with the opportunity to enhance my skills and deepen my knowledge of sustainable development, helping me stay at the forefront of industry advancements. I am excited to contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with a diverse team, furthering my commitment to creating more sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

Q4: What is your favorite project and what have you done in that project?

Khang:

Currently, my favorite project is the Safran factory project. In this project, I conduct thermal comfort analyses within the working space using CFD simulation to evaluate the efficiency of the current HVAC system. The simulation provides data on temperature and humidity, which we use to assess the thermal comfort level and develop strategies to optimize energy consumption and enhance comfort. This project involves a lot of detailed work, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the requirements for conducting effective CFD simulations.

Q5: What is one of your hobbies outside of work?

Khang:

“I’m a big fan of physical activities. After work, I often hit the gym, and on weekends, I enjoy playing badminton or hanging out with friends.

Another passion of mine is traveling. I love exploring new destinations I haven’t visited before, and learning about their history and people. These experiences create valuable memories that I cherish throughout my life.

Q6: Favorite quote/motto?

Khang:

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.” – Steve Jobs
