Q1: What is your role in TERAO and since when?

Shaikh:

I joined TERAO in April 2023 as a Project Engineer. My primary responsibility is conducting energy and carbon audits for our clients across Asia. My strength lies in identifying energy optimization opportunities and designing strategies to help our clients achieve sustainability goals.

Q2: What do you like in your role at TERAO?

Shaikh:

As someone passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency, I love the opportunity to create a meaningful impact by reducing carbon footprints for our clients. The diversity of projects and industries we serve keeps my work dynamic and intellectually stimulating. Being able to work in other countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines has given me a better understanding of each country’s sustainability and energy policies.

Q3: Why did you choose to work at TERAO?

Shaikh:

I chose TERAO because of its strong commitment to sustainability and its innovative approach to energy management. The company’s international projects and multidisciplinary team offered me the perfect platform to grow professionally.

Q4: What is your favorite project and what have you done in that project?

Shaikh:

My favorite project would be a 5-star resort energy audit in Indonesia and an industrial facility energy audit in Thailand. My role involved analyzing energy consumption patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing actionable recommendations that resulted in reduced energy consumption, operational cost and environmental impact.

Q5: What is one of your hobbies outside of work?

Shaikh:

Outside of work, I enjoy collecting and building LEGO. Especially LEGO Technic!
