Roundtable around “How companies are facing climate change and under-pressure energy context?” organized by UFE
Last Tuesday 29th November, Nathalie Ieong was invited for a roundtable on the topic of “How companies are facing climate change and under-pressure energy context?” alongside Hutchinson, Legrand and Eco Green Energy. The event was organized by the UFE (l’Union des Français de l’Etranger).
The speakers completed each other as they could bring insights from green building consultant, smart electronic product provider, automotive industry parts provider which gets more and more pressure from customers to be carbon neutral, and solar PV provider.
Participants could learn more about the different strategies in France or China Energy mix or regulations for new buildings and how countries and companies are working together to reduce energy consumptions and carbon emissions.

Panel discussion around “Green transition of the Automobile Industry” in Changshu, Jiangsu province, China Earlier this month (November 4th), Gaspard Lemoine-Scelles, TERAO Asia Head of Business Development, was glad to take part in a panel discussion on the Green Transition in China together with Mickaël NAOURI and Simon Lemin, Energy and Environment Chairs of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China.
The topics discussed went from the approach taken by China regarding energy production, to the evolution of the regulatory environment to accelerate the green transition and the approach that companies can take to get started with their own transition.

Presentation for Capstone Product session, for the CHARM-EU master program students
Last Wednesday 30th November, our Operation Manager Nathalie Ieong was invited for sharing session around sustainability and green building certifications with the students of Université de Montpellier and 3 others universities. The 4 universities propose a joint master (CHARM-EU) based on projects around Sustainability.
Six other professionals shared their insight about their profession, to help inspire the students in their project.
It was very nice interaction to see how ideas in the Green Building certification could give some ideas about Labels that the students were developing, around sustainable fishing or social supermarket and food distribution.
